Vase

Blown glass vase from the Peary I collection, designed by Bořek Šípek for Driade.
Its form is organic and imaginative: the upper section is adorned with green leaves, buds, and tendrils reaching upward, while vivid red thorns trace the body of the vase. The piece evokes a surreal botanical world, suspended between nature and invention.

This work embodies the poetic and visionary universe of Bořek Šípek, the Czech architect and designer known for his experimental and expressive approach. A long-time collaborator of Driade since the 1980s, Šípek combined traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary sensibility, creating objects rich in symbolism and emotional resonance.
