Set of 3 “Reno” Lounge Chairs by Rito Valla for I.P.E., Italy, circa 1965
Versatile set of three “Reno” lounge chairs, designed by Rito Valla for I.P.E., Bologna, around 1965.
These sculptural seats feature a metal frame and are upholstered in brown-toned faux leather, reflecting the formal elegance and functional experimentation of mid-century Italian design.
Ingeniously conceived, the chairs can be used in two configurations: as lounge chairs with an inclined backrest or as low stools when the back is fully flattened. This transformable solution reveals Valla’s focus on adaptable, user-centered design.
Each piece retains its original manufacturer’s label.
