Monachella lamp

Mid-century Monachella table lamp designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena in 1950s.

This table version retains the essential character of the original design, translating it to a more intimate scale. The lamp is defined by its refined balance of materials, with a brass frame supporting a lacquered aluminum shade that slopes slightly downward. The name “Monachella” refers to the nuns’ headgear, evoked by the shape of the lampshade.
